Wine & Food

In the vineyards flanked by woods of the Berici Hills, a land particularly fit for red wines, well-structured wines are produced, like Tai Rosso DOC, Carmenère, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc of the Colli Berici, the first Cabernet with designation in Italy, to combine with traditional products, like soppressa or baccalà alla vicentina.

We suggest that you travel along the Berici Hills Wine Route, with a stop in one of the many local farms that offer wine tasting and wine cellar tour, and that you also taste local specialties, such as grappa, Berico truffle, Berico-Euganeo Venetian ham, olive oil and peas from Lumignano.

Wine lovers can continue their journey to other noteworthy wine-growing areas in the region: the area of Valpolicella and Soave, not far from Verona, or the Prosecco Hills between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, in the province of Treviso.
